The HŌ‘Ā program began as a dream to take arts learning outside of the classroom and serve students’ social and emotional needs by connecting to culture and place. Thanks to the hard work and partnership of many people and organizations, the HŌ‘Ā program is now in its second year. The HŌ‘Ā program is supported by the Hawai‘i State Foundation on Culture and the Arts and facilitated by Hawai‘i Open Arts LLC in partnership with mālama ‘āina organizations, arts organizations, and schools throughout the pae ‘āina.
